Float like a butterfly – Named Ansa dress

ansafront2Hi All

I seem to be looking quite cross in the picture above – but I am actually very pleased with my latest project for the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network*. You can read all the details about it over on the Minerva website – here.

I used the most beautiful Atelier Brunette viscose crepe this month – the colour is incredibly rich and the viscose means it is both drapey and breathable on warm summer days (which seem to be back again in Brighton this week!)

This is the Named Ansa dress from the Playground collection. When I looked around for other examples of this pattern made up I didn’t find that many examples which I was a bit surprised about – it requires less than 2m of 150cm wide fabric, the pleats make it a bit easier to fit and it has big sleeves – what’s not to like?ansaside1ansafront5And talking of sleeves – this is my entry for #sleevefest2017 – you can read all about it over at Valentine & Stitch or Dream Cut Sew.

Thank you to Minerva for the supplies as ever*

*I received the fabric and other supplies free of charge from Minerva Crafts in return for providing a blog post. All opinions are my own.
